The European Union through Plan Rwanda, an International child rights centered organization, launched the "Empowering youth through Cooperative development" project in 2010 as part of Plan Rwanda "youth empowerment" country program. As the project phased out in February 2013, it saw 2400 young people in the Eastern Province grouped in 61 cooperatives with 53% of women. The Roots to Rising Youth Media Project is a film-making project that desires to serve the youth of the Moapa Band of Paiutes and Moapa Valley with a hands-on mobile media studio with the aspirations to grow to larger studio capacities. The film-making crews and artists consist of local youth and Hollywood and film-making student mentors. It is endorsed by the Moapa Band of Paiutes, local artists, museums, educational and community programs. We will focus on cultural revitalization, visual storytelling, individual journeys and challenges, long-term goals and creative aspirations. “LovEarth Through Art, musical activities for youth workers” is a training course, Key Action 1, organized by FEZ-Berlin and Immaginaria Coop Sociale Onlus, with the financial support of “Erasmus+” Program. The project was held in Berlin, 5-12 December 2014, with 24 participants coming from Armenia, Azerbaijan, France, Georgia, Germany, Italy, Poland and Ukraine.
